Light steel frame (LSF) building systems offer high structural resilience, lower costs due to fast prefabrication, and ability recycle reuse. The main goal of this paper was provide state-of-the-art components for such with the intention be implemented use in nearly-zero energy buildings (NZEBs). A brief historical outline development LSF given, key parameters affecting design were discussed. influence individual system (steel studs, sheathing boards, insulation materials) then thoroughly discussed light relevant research on efficiency other important properties (such as sound protection fire resistance).
